Our cuisine is committed to serve fresh healthy and honest food for which you do not have to wait too long. We combine our passion for lovely food with pure ingredients and well-engineered equipment to serve you with amazing food. We have regular, vegan, gluten free, and halal options.
Beating avocado Aubergine became the most consumed vegetable in Amsterdam in 2020. So, that was the trigger to offer several homemade finger licking dishes with aubergine. Our name has also got to do with the populairity of Aubergine. However, we have evolved over the years. The majority of our offer does not contain any sign of Aubergine, while we stay committed to a number of dishes with Aubergine such as our popular Grilled Aubergini Wrap.

We’re unique in our choices, taste, and freshness while our food is very convenient. We make this happen with creative minds we have in our team, zero waste policy, and managing our supply chain sustainably.

We make fresh drinks and smoothies ourselves, be it flat or sparkling water, mangorita, very berry or gingerlime.
Aubergini is born as a consequence of dissatisfaction and a burning desire to come up with better food. In a way our story is comparable to that of the remarkable Lamborghini. Mr. Ferruccio Lamborghini, a tractor builder after the Second World War, founded Lamborghini because he wanted to build a good touring car to compete against the cars of makers such as Ferrari.
There are a lot of food concepts out there, but we have come to life to bring food and beverage to the next level.
One Summer day back in 2018 we thought we would not be the only ones having such a challenge. So we decided to come up with a proper answer. The answer would then be tasty fresh healthy food for which you do not have to wait too long. Important for us were increasing quality of the food as much as possible and reducing time to wait for the food tremendously.

“Hi there, first, thanks for visiting Aubergini.
Well, let me start with saying that I am actually not a professional cook. Even better, I never worked in a restaurant before. I am a leadership author and a business consultant. I deliver leadership talks on demand and help (food) companies to optimize their supply chain (particularly their procurement) and business processes.
My name is Hamid Safaei, married with Azadeh who actually is a much better cook than I am. Azadeh has been a great source inspiration for me. We both love cooking and can stay in our kitchen for hours. We have two lovely sons, Arwin and Tiam. By building Aubergini we trust we contribute to a healthy diet for our sons, the current and coming generations”
